This herein clarification text has been prepared by the data supervisor in order to inform you about which of your personal data; for what purpose and how it is processed, with whom it is shared and for how long it is stored. The information is provided within the scope of Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No 6698.

As ugursaglik.com (Web site), we have prepared the clarification text, which contains information about the personal data processing activity, pertaining to all data categories and person groups, pursuant to Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No 6698 (“Law”). Identity and contact information belonging to visitors are acquired only if the visitor comments on an existing post on the website and if the relevant person manually enters these informations into the comment form.

Another information acquired is the IP address of the visitors, which is automatically processed by the server.

The identity and contact information acquired from these personal data of visitors consists of the visitor’s name and email information. Also, the personal data is processed with the explicit consent of the visitor when filling out the comment form to create a comment.

Registration of the visitor's IP address is processed in accordance with Article 5/2-f of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698.

ARTICLE 5: The storage periods of the personal data written in this clarification text are listed below according to the data categories, and the personal data is destroyed at the end of the period.  

1. Identity / 10 years from the date of identification
2. Contact / 10 years from the receipt of contact information
3. Transaction Security / 10 years from the date of processing personal data

ARTICLE 6: THE RIGHTS OF THE RELATED PERSON

The natural person whose personal data is processed is identified as the relevant person and has the following rights in relation to him/her by applying to the workplace.

1. Learning whether the personal data is processed,
2. Request information about personal data if it’s processed,
3. Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether it’s used for the intended purpose,
4. Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred at domestic or abroad,
5. Requesting correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
6. Requesting deletion or destruction of personal data,
7. Requesting notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (e) and (f) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
8. Objecting to the emergence of a result against one’s self by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
9. Requesting compensation for damages if personal data is damaged due to unlawful processing.
