He was born in Rize in 1975 and completed his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at METU (1997) and his MBA at Yeditepe University (2004).

He started his career part-time at Başarı Elektronik (1996-97). He held senior management positions in the field of Information Technology at leading Turkish banks and financial institutions, including Yapı Kredi Technology (1997-2007), Akbank (2008-2016), Mastercard (2016-2020), and Paycore (2020-2023), and successfully completed the transition of important projects. As of 2023, he began serving as CTO at Surpay Technology Inc. Additionally, he has been a member of the board of directors at Istanbul Payment and Electronic Money Inc. since July 2024.
